Description
The W Audio DQM 600H is a quad handheld UHF radio microphone system designed for professional speech, presentation and live performance applications. Supplied with a 1U full-width rackmount receiver and four handheld transmitters, it provides a practical multi-microphone solution for schools, venues, churches, conference spaces, theatres and event systems.
Operating in the 606–614MHz Channel 38 band, the DQM 600H offers an 8MHz tuning bandwidth with 110 selectable frequencies. In the UK, Channel 38 operation requires the appropriate PMSE licence, making this system best suited to users who need a coordinated professional wireless microphone setup rather than licence-free casual use.
The receiver includes four OLED displays with frequency, channel, RF and AF signal metering, making setup and monitoring straightforward. Automatic frequency scanning helps locate suitable operating frequencies, while IR infrared synchronisation allows the handheld transmitters to be quickly matched to the receiver channels.
Each handheld transmitter uses a dynamic cardioid capsule, making the system suitable for vocals, announcements, assemblies, conferences and general presentation use. The cardioid pickup pattern helps focus on the person speaking or singing while reducing pickup from the sides and rear.
Connectivity is designed for professional audio systems, with individual balanced XLR outputs for each microphone channel plus an unbalanced mixed output. This allows each microphone to be mixed separately on a sound desk or combined through a single output where a simpler setup is required.
The DQM 600H is a useful choice for fixed AV racks, school hall systems, stage productions, houses of worship and live event setups where four handheld wireless microphones are required from one rackmount receiver.
