At The AV Barn, we aim to make delivery clear, reliable and straightforward. Whether you are ordering a small accessory, a complete audio system, lighting equipment or larger staging products, we work to dispatch your order as efficiently as possible.
For non-bulky mainland UK orders under £150, our standard delivery charge is £8.50.
Non-bulky orders over £150 are free of charge.
Some oversized, heavy or specialist items may be subject to an additional delivery surcharge depending on the product, delivery location and courier requirements. This will be applied at the checkout stage.
Certain products are classed as oversized or bulk delivery items due to their size, weight or handling requirements. This may include items such as staging, large loudspeakers, trussing, flight cases, installation equipment or other heavy goods.
Where a surcharge applies, this will depend on the item or items being ordered and the delivery address. In some cases, we may contact you after your order is placed to confirm the most suitable delivery method and any additional carriage cost.
Oversized and bulk items are typically delivered within 1–5 working days, depending on stock availability, courier scheduling and delivery location.
Most standard orders are usually delivered within 48 hours when placed before our shipping cut-off time of 2pm, Monday to Friday.
Although many orders arrive with 48 hours, some orders can take longer if they're shipped direct from the supplier, depending on their location. Occasional courier delays that may be outside of our control, such as high parcel volumes, traffic disruption, weather conditions or regional delivery issues may impact delivery times.
Orders placed after 2pm, over the weekend or on a bank holiday will usually be processed on the next working day.
Custom orders such as rack panels, or bulk/oversized items are typically delivered within 1-5 working day.
Orders may be dispatched directly from The AV Barn or from one of our trusted suppliers. This depends on current stock quantities, warehouse availability and whether we hold the specific item in stock at the time of ordering.
Supplier-direct delivery allows us to offer a wider product range and helps us get items to you as quickly as possible. Where an order contains multiple items from different suppliers, these may arrive in separate deliveries. Our standard delivery terms apply to mainland UK addresses. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, offshore islands and other remote locations may take longer and may incur additional carriage charges. These charges will be displayed during checkout.
Please inspect your goods carefully when they arrive. If there is any visible damage, shortage or issue with your delivery, please sign for the delivery as damaged/missing and contact us as soon as possible so we can review this with the courier or supplier.
In the unlikely event that there is any visible damage, shortage or issue with your delivery, please sign for the delivery as damaged/missing parts and take pictures of all sides of the parcels including any damage and send these to hello@theavbarn.co.uk.
We recommend keeping all packaging unless stated otherwise.
