The Tascam RX-BT10 is a professional Bluetooth audio receiver designed to add reliable wireless audio streaming to installed sound systems, commercial AV installations and professional audio setups.
Featuring Bluetooth 5.1 Class 1 connectivity, the RX-BT10 provides an extended wireless operating range of up to approximately 100 metres in ideal unobstructed conditions. Actual range will depend on the connected device and installation environment; for example, a lower-powered smartphone may limit the achievable transmission distance.
Balanced stereo XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs allow the receiver to integrate easily with professional mixers, amplifiers, DSP processors and commercial audio systems. A rear-panel Stereo/Mono switch allows the output to operate in stereo or be summed to mono, making the RX-BT10 suitable for both stereo systems and individual commercial audio zones.
The RX-BT10 can store pairing information for up to eight Bluetooth devices, with up to three devices connected simultaneously. Each receiver also has its own unique Bluetooth ID, making it practical to install multiple RX-BT10 units within the same building or multi-zone audio system without creating confusion for users selecting the required receiver.
For installations where the receiver itself needs to be positioned inside a rack or away from the user, the detachable Bluetooth antenna can be extended by up to 20 metres. The pairing button can also be extended, providing greater flexibility when creating remotely accessible Bluetooth connection points.
A front-panel output level control provides straightforward adjustment, while the compact metal chassis and included mounting brackets make the RX-BT10 suitable for discreet installation under desks, on shelves or alongside other AV equipment. Two receivers can also be installed side-by-side in a rack using the optional Tascam AK-RS1 rackmount kit.
