The Showtec Shark The Meg Beam One is a powerful 100W LED beam moving head designed for sharp aerial effects, tight beam projection and dynamic moving light performance. With a narrow 1.6° beam angle, high-output cool white LED source and a strong onboard effects package, it is built for users who need compact moving heads capable of producing defined beams, crisp gobos and high-impact lighting looks.
The fixture uses a 100W cool white LED light source, delivering a total luminous flux of 6056 lumens. Its output is especially focused through the narrow beam optics, with illuminance listed at 822769 lux at 2m, 365675 lux at 3m and 131643 lux at 5m. This gives the Shark The Meg Beam One the intensity required for bold mid-air beam effects, particularly when used with haze or atmospheric effects.
A key feature of this fixture is its very narrow 1.6° beam angle. These prisms can be used to split and multiply the beam, creating wider aerial effects, layered patterns and more energetic movement across the rig. Movement is handled through 540° pan and 270° tilt, with 16-bit pan and tilt resolution for smoother positioning. This gives the fixture the precision required for programmed beam looks, fast sweeps and repeated cue positions. It can be used as part of a symmetrical moving head rig or as a standalone effect fixture where strong movement and visual impact are required.
Control options include DMX, built-in programs and master/slave operation. DMX channel modes are available in 15, 22 and 30 channel configurations, allowing users to select the level of control detail required for the show. The TFT display provides access to fixture settings and menu functions, supporting setup, addressing and local configuration.
