The Showtec ACT Fresnel 150 RGBAL is a compact theatrical LED Fresnel designed for soft, colour-rich wash lighting with professional control and flexible manual adjustment. Using a modified 280W RGBAL COB LED light source, it delivers a bright, smooth beam with a wide colour range, high colour rendering and practical output shaping for stage, studio, performance and venue lighting applications.
Although positioned as a 150W class RGBAL Fresnel, the fixture uses a modified 280W RGBAL LED source to optimise colour output and maintain a high CRI. This allows the ACT Fresnel 150 RGBAL to produce a broad palette of colours while still retaining accurate colour rendering for people, scenery, sets, fabrics and display environments. The fixture has a CRI of 93, making it suitable for applications where colour quality matters, rather than simply producing a basic coloured wash.
The RGBAL colour engine gives lighting designers access to red, green, blue, amber and lime LED colour mixing. This provides greater colour flexibility than conventional RGB or RGBW fixtures, particularly when creating warmer tones, softer pastels, natural whites and more refined theatrical colours. The adjustable colour temperature range of 2700K to 10000K also makes the fixture useful where variable white light is required alongside saturated colour effects.
