The RA Technology Centurian Bigfoot V5 Mesh Cage is a robust projector protection solution designed specifically for environments where installed equipment may be exposed to accidental impact.
Particularly suited to school halls, sports halls, leisure facilities and other busy spaces, the heavy-duty mesh construction helps protect the projector from footballs, sports equipment and other potential sources of damage while still allowing ventilation around the unit.
The projector is mounted in an inverted position directly to the cage's integrated universal mounting grid using the supplied fixing legs and screw pack. Cable management holes are incorporated into the top section, helping to keep power, signal and control cabling neatly routed through the installation.
Once the projector has been positioned, an opening can be cut into the mesh at the required point for the projected image to pass through. This allows the cage to be adapted to suit the projector's individual lens position.
The cage measures 575mm x 520mm x 240mm externally, with RA Technology recommending approximately 30mm clearance around the projector for installation, ventilation and cable management.
A 50mm sleeve fixing is incorporated into the cage for connection to compatible RA Technology wall mounts, ceiling plates and 50mm mounting columns. Due to the combined weight of the projector and cage, RA Technology recommends using its Heavy Duty 50mm column and compatible HD ceiling mounting plate for suspended installations.
