The Optimal Audio Talk 8 is a professional digital paging station designed to deliver clear, flexible communication across multi-zone commercial audio systems. Built for precision and reliability, Talk 8 enables accurate paging to individual zones or multiple zones simultaneously, making it an essential component of high-quality, efficient venue-wide sound systems.
Talk 8 allows users to define and select custom zone groups, supporting tailored communication for different areas of a venue. Configuration is managed through the intuitive WebApp, where installers can set paging priorities, schedule message routines and tailor behaviour to meet specific operational requirements.
The paging station features a backlit TALK button with selectable latching and non-latching operation, an optional pre-announcement chime, and six instant message replay buttons for fast, consistent playback. With 4GB of onboard memory, audio content can be assigned to buttons or scheduled for automatic playback as part of time-of-day routines via the WebApp.
Designed for seamless integration within the Optimal Audio ecosystem, Talk 8 supports operation with Zone controllers and allows up to two digital paging stations to work together within a single system. A robust, weighted chassis with standardised mounting options ensures stable placement and compatibility with a wide range of mounts and brackets.
Power is supplied via a locking RJ45 connection from the Zone controller paging port, simplifying installation and ensuring a secure connection. USB-C connectivity is included for firmware updates and audio file loading. Supplied with the Mic 1 dynamic gooseneck microphone, Talk 8 delivers professional-grade voice clarity and dependable operation in demanding commercial environments.
