Description
The Martin Audio XP15 is a high-output, self-powered two-way loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional sonic performance and impactful low-frequency response for professional portable and installed sound applications. It features a 15-inch low-frequency driver with a 3-inch voice coil, paired with a 1-inch exit high-frequency compression driver utilising a 1.75-inch polyimide diaphragm, providing powerful bass extension alongside clear, detailed high-frequency reproduction within a precisely defined 80° x 50° coverage pattern.
An integrated Class D amplifier module provides a combined 1300W peak output, delivering 1000W to the low-frequency section and 300W to the high-frequency driver. Both LF and HF sections are independently protected by RMS and peak limiters to ensure consistent performance and long-term reliability. Onboard DSP is controlled via a rear-panel rotary encoder and multi-function colour display, offering crossover management, a three-channel mixer with three-band EQ per input, high-pass filtering on channels one and two, and a choice of three voicing presets and operating modes for flexible standalone operation without external processing. Bluetooth functionality enables wireless control and streaming where required.
The symmetrical multi-angle enclosure is constructed from birch and poplar plywood and finished in textured black paint for durability in professional environments. A spring-fit, cloth-backed steel grille protects the drivers while allowing easy access to rotate the high-frequency horn for vertical or horizontal orientation. Integrated ergonomic handles enhance portability, while M8 flying inserts and a pole-mount socket with removable cap provide versatile mounting options. With its combination of high output, refined control and robust construction, the XP15 is a powerful loudspeaker solution from Martin Audio.
