The Martin Audio SX210 is a slimline passive dual 10” subwoofer designed for professional audio systems where strong low frequency performance is required from a compact and visually unobtrusive enclosure. Available in black or white, it is well suited to commercial venues, hospitality spaces, houses of worship, corporate AV environments, live music venues and compact performance areas where space and presentation are important.
Using two 10” long-excursion drivers with 2” voice coils, the SX210 provides a significant step up in bass output compared with a single-driver slimline subwoofer while retaining a low-profile cabinet format. Its compact shape allows it to be positioned discreetly, stacked where appropriate or flown using the integrated M8 inserts and suitable installation hardware.
With 400W AES power handling and 1600W peak capability, the SX210 delivers dependable low frequency reinforcement for background music, foreground music and compact live sound applications. The 4Ω passive design requires suitable amplification and active crossover processing, with Martin Audio recommending appropriate system controllers or amplifier presets to manage crossover and EQ functions.
The SX210 has a frequency response of 50Hz–150Hz ±3dB, with useful low frequency extension down to 42Hz at -10dB. This gives it the capability to add depth, warmth and impact to compatible full-range loudspeakers, making it particularly effective in venues where music quality is a key part of the customer experience.
The cabinet is constructed from birch/poplar plywood and fitted with a perforated steel grille for driver protection. Rear bar handles support practical handling, while rubber feet help resist movement when the subwoofer is floor mounted and align with cabinet recesses for stacking. At 718mm x 295mm x 465mm and 20kg, the SX210 remains compact and manageable while providing strong bass output from its dual-driver design.
