The Martin Audio iKON iK41 is a Dante-enabled 4-channel Class D power amplifier designed for professional loudspeaker systems requiring high power density, advanced DSP and network-based control. Delivering up to 6,000W total output from a compact 2U rackmount chassis, the iK41 provides a powerful amplification and control platform for demanding installed and live sound applications.
The iK41 is designed as a dedicated system amplifier for Martin Audio WPM, TORUS 8 and selected other systems, while also offering versatile multi-channel amplification across suitable Martin Audio loudspeaker ranges. With four amplifier channels delivering 1500W into 2Ω or 4Ω, it is well suited to venues, theatres, performance spaces, touring racks, commercial AV systems and fixed installations where reliable high-output amplification is required.
Audio connectivity is flexible, with analogue, AES3 and Dante digital audio inputs included. The 4-channel Dante input supports AES67 compatibility, allowing the amplifier to integrate into modern networked audio systems, while analogue XLR and AES3 connections support traditional professional audio workflows. Four Neutrik speakON NL4 outputs provide secure loudspeaker connections for touring and installation environments.
The onboard DSP provides the processing required for loudspeaker optimisation, system alignment and protection. DSP functions include routing, EQ, delay, gain, crossover filtering and limiting, with 96kHz processing available on all inputs and outputs. When FIR filters are implemented, DSP operation runs at 48kHz, supporting optimised Martin Audio system configurations.
Control and monitoring are handled over Ethernet using Martin Audio’s VU-NET software, giving engineers and system designers access to system status, configuration and monitoring functions from a connected computer. A front panel interface is also provided for local control, making the amplifier practical for both installed systems and live production racks.
The iK41 uses a switch mode power supply with global 85–240V AC auto-sensing operation and dual vari-speed fans with front-to-back airflow. This supports dependable performance in professional environments where amplifier efficiency, cooling and reliability are critical.
