The Martin Audio DX0.4 is a compact 2-input, 4-output network system controller designed for professional loudspeaker management in both installed and portable audio systems. It is well suited to Martin Audio ADORN, CDD and BlacklineX systems, as well as other applications where flexible routing, EQ, delay and loudspeaker protection are required from a cost-effective 1U processor.
With two balanced XLR inputs and four balanced XLR outputs, the DX0.4 provides fully assignable matrix routing, allowing both inputs to be routed to any output with attenuation available at each routing point. This makes it suitable for stereo systems, subwoofer integration, multi-zone audio, small venue sound systems and compact commercial installations requiring precise control over signal distribution.
Comprehensive DSP tools are included for system tuning and protection. Input processing includes gain, polarity invert, up to 600ms delay, 10-band parametric EQ and noise gate functionality. Each output includes gain, polarity invert, up to 200ms delay, high-pass and low-pass crossover filters, 8-band parametric EQ, program limiting and peak limiting. This gives installers and engineers the tools required to optimise loudspeaker response, align subs and tops, manage room behaviour and protect the system from excessive drive levels.
The DX0.4 is designed for straightforward setup and day-to-day operation. The front panel includes an LCD display, intuitive menu controls, one-touch mute buttons and 6-segment LED metering for inputs, outputs and limiter activity. A front panel USB port allows direct PC connection, while Ethernet and RS485 networking support larger systems where multiple processors may need to be controlled.
A useful feature of the DX0.4 is the ability to import Martin Audio output channel presets, helping speed up configuration when working with compatible Martin Audio loudspeakers. The unit also provides 32 user memory locations, allowing system configurations to be stored and recalled for different venue layouts, event formats or installation requirements.
