The Martin Audio CDD10 is a compact passive installation loudspeaker designed for commercial AV systems that require higher output, controlled coverage and premium sound quality from a relatively discreet cabinet. Available in black or white, it is suitable for a wide range of venues where a professional installed speaker system needs to deliver clear music playback, strong speech intelligibility and dependable long-term performance.
As a 10” model within the Martin Audio CDD Series, the CDD10 offers a substantial increase in output and low frequency extension compared with smaller CDD loudspeakers. It is particularly well suited to bars, restaurants, clubs, hotels, retail spaces, houses of worship, education buildings, performance areas, leisure venues and multi-purpose commercial spaces where higher sound levels are required without moving to a much larger cabinet format.
The CDD10 uses a 10” low frequency driver with a 2.5” voice coil and a 1” exit high frequency compression driver with a 1.4” voice coil. This coaxial driver arrangement supports clear and consistent sound from a compact enclosure, helping music and speech remain balanced across the listening area. With 250W AES power handling and 1000W peak capability, the CDD10 provides the headroom needed for more demanding foreground music and installation applications.
Martin Audio’s Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology is a key part of the CDD10’s performance. The coverage pattern is designed to provide wider horizontal dispersion close to the loudspeaker and more focused projection further into the room. This helps create more even sound levels across the listening area, reducing excessive volume directly below or close to the speaker while supporting greater clarity further away.
The user-rotatable coaxial driver gives the CDD10 additional installation flexibility. With 110°–75° horizontal coverage and 60° vertical coverage, the dispersion can be aligned to suit either vertical or horizontal cabinet orientation. This is especially useful in venues where wall positions, ceiling heights, architectural features or audience layouts require the speaker to be installed in a specific orientation.
With a frequency response of 65Hz–20kHz ±3dB and extension down to 55Hz at -10dB, the CDD10 delivers a full-range sound suitable for many commercial music systems. For applications requiring greater bass impact, such as bars, clubs, event spaces or music-led hospitality venues, the CDD10 can also be paired with a suitable Martin Audio subwoofer as part of a wider system design.
The cabinet is constructed from plywood and features a multi-angle enclosure design, giving installers flexibility when positioning the loudspeaker for the required coverage. The CDD10 includes 6x M8 inserts for wall bracket mounting and 10x M8 fly points, supporting a wide range of professional installation methods using suitable Martin Audio accessories and approved fixing hardware.
Measuring 323mm x 513mm x 310mm and weighing 15.3kg, the CDD10 remains compact for its output level while offering a strong step up in performance from smaller installation loudspeakers. Its black and white finish options allow it to be specified for both darker entertainment spaces and lighter architectural environments.
