The Martin Audio C6.8T is a 6.5” two-way ceiling loudspeaker designed for professional commercial audio installations where strong full-range performance, wide coverage and a discreet flush-mounted finish are required. With its enclosed steel backcan, white architectural grille and flexible 70V/100V or 16Ω operation, it is a practical choice for high-quality background and foreground music systems across a wide range of commercial spaces.
Using a 6.5” carbon fibre loaded polypropylene bass driver and a 0.8” dome tweeter, the C6.8T delivers a more substantial sound than smaller ceiling speakers while remaining compact enough for standard ceiling installations. It is well suited to restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, retail stores, offices, meeting rooms, education facilities, reception areas and hospitality spaces where clean aesthetics and consistent sound coverage are both important.
The side-by-side driver arrangement is designed to provide smooth off-axis response, helping the speaker maintain clarity and tonal balance across a wide listening area. With 150° conical dispersion up to 7kHz, the C6.8T is particularly effective in lower ceiling environments where broad coverage can help reduce the total number of loudspeakers required. The C6.8T includes an integrated 70V/100V line transformer, making it suitable for distributed speaker systems where multiple ceiling speakers are required across larger areas or multiple zones. A 16Ω low impedance option is also available, giving additional flexibility where conventional low impedance operation is preferred.

Its frequency response of 90Hz–20kHz provides a balanced sound for music and speech, while the 106dB continuous and 112dB peak SPL capability gives it the capacity to perform in more demanding spaces.
The speaker is supplied with useful installation accessories, including tile rails, a C bracket, paint mask and cut-out template.
