The Martin Audio Blackline Q218 is a high-output passive subwoofer engineered to deliver powerful, controlled low-frequency reinforcement for demanding professional sound reinforcement applications. It features dual 18-inch drivers with 4-inch voice coils, housed in a robust plywood enclosure finished in hard-wearing black paint, providing exceptional durability and acoustic stability for both touring and installed systems. Slot-loaded ports ensure efficient airflow while reducing turbulence, resulting in clean, tight bass performance even at high sound pressure levels.
Designed for maximum deployment flexibility, the Q218 can be used as a standalone subwoofer, stacked in ground-based arrays or flown using integral M10 flying inserts. An integrated M20 pole-mount socket enables seamless integration with full-range loudspeakers from the Blackline Q Series, while dual signal link outputs positioned at the top and bottom of the cabinet allow neat and discreet cabling regardless of orientation.
The enclosure is protected by a perforated, impact-resistant steel grille and incorporates four ergonomic side handles for safe and efficient handling. Rubber feet on the base align with recessed locations on the cabinet top to ensure secure and stable stacking, and fittings are provided for an optional castor kit to support easy transportation.
