The Martin Audio AIPKIT is a weatherised connector cover kit designed for use with ADORN A40, A40T, A55 and A55T on-wall loudspeakers. Available in black or white, it provides a neat and practical accessory for installations where compatible ADORN speakers need additional protection around the rear connection area.
This kit is intended for outdoor or semi-exposed loudspeaker installations where moisture and environmental exposure need to be managed correctly. When fitted to a compatible ADORN speaker in accordance with Martin Audio guidance, the AIPKIT upgrades the loudspeaker to an IP54 rating. This makes it suitable for selected protected outdoor applications, including covered terraces, external hospitality areas, entrance canopies, outdoor retail spaces and other sheltered commercial environments.
The AIPKIT includes the connector cover, screws, rubber gasket seal and cable gland required for installation. The cable gland supports cable diameters from 6mm to 10mm, helping create a more secure and weather-resistant connection point. The cover also includes an input cable hole and knockout provision for an optional daisy-chain cable, giving installers additional flexibility when working with multiple speakers in a distributed audio system.
Manufactured from weather-resistant ASA plastic, the cover is designed to complement the ADORN speaker range while providing added protection to the connection area. The black version is well suited to darker cabinets, exposed ceilings and entertainment-led spaces, while the white version is ideal for lighter architectural interiors or white ADORN speaker installations.
