The LEDJ Spectra QX40 Pixel is a powerful LED wash fixture designed for professional event production, stage lighting and architectural applications. Combining high output with advanced pixel control and wireless DMX capability, the fixture offers lighting designers the flexibility to create dynamic and visually engaging effects.
The unit is equipped with forty 15W RGBW quad colour LEDs capable of producing a broad colour spectrum ranging from deep saturated colours through to softer pastel tones. With a focused 8° beam angle and an output of up to 67,847 lux at 2 metres, the Spectra QX40 Pixel delivers strong and concentrated illumination suitable for highlighting structures, stages and event spaces.
Pixel zone mapping enables designers to control sections of the fixture independently, allowing the creation of animated effects, chases and layered colour sequences. This makes the QX40 Pixel particularly effective for creative stage designs and large scale lighting installations.
Control options include wired DMX alongside integrated wireless DMX using CRMX TiMo RX technology by LumenRadio, which supports both CRMX and W DMX protocols. Multiple DMX channel modes provide flexibility for simple operation or more detailed programming within professional lighting systems. RDM support allows remote device configuration and monitoring when used within compatible DMX networks.
The fixture offers smooth 0 to 100 percent dimming with four selectable dimming curves including linear, square law, inverse square law and S curve. Variable strobe effects and built in colour programs further enhance the fixture’s creative capabilities.
Designed for rental and touring environments, the Spectra QX40 Pixel features a slim profile for efficient storage and transport within road trunks. The fixture is supplied with installation brackets and quick release omega clamps for flexible rigging options.
Power and data connections are handled via PowerTwist TR1 input and output connectors alongside IP rated five pin XLR DMX connections. A four button OLED display provides straightforward configuration and menu navigation, while the fan cooled design ensures stable operation during extended use.
Optional accessories including beam shaping lenses, snoots and barn doors allow the beam characteristics to be further tailored, expanding the fixture’s suitability across a wide range of professional lighting applications.
