The FBT X-LITE 108A is a compact and versatile 8-inch active PA loudspeaker designed for portable sound reinforcement, live events, DJs, presentations and fixed installations where high output and excellent clarity are required from a lightweight enclosure.
Featuring a 2-way bi-amplified design, the X-LITE 108A combines an 8-inch low-frequency woofer with a 2-inch voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver. Dedicated Class D amplification delivers 600W to the low-frequency section and 200W to the high-frequency driver, producing up to 124dB maximum SPL from a cabinet weighing just 10kg.
With a frequency response of 58Hz to 20kHz and a 90° x 60° dispersion pattern, the X-LITE 108A provides clear, consistent coverage for speech and music applications. It can be used as a standalone full-range loudspeaker or paired with an active subwoofer where additional low-frequency performance is required.
Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity allows compatible smartphones, tablets and other devices to stream audio wirelessly directly to the loudspeaker. The onboard controls also include a mic/line input with independent level control, balanced XLR output with link/mix selection, high-pass filtering and four DSP presets, providing flexible configuration without requiring additional processing equipment.
The rugged gas-injected polypropylene enclosure incorporates a steel protective grille and is designed for both portable and permanently installed applications. Four M10 rigging points allow the cabinet to be suspended where appropriate, while the integrated 35mm pole socket provides conventional stand or subwoofer pole mounting. The enclosure can also be positioned at either 30° or 45° when used as a stage monitor.
