The FBT VN 1000 is a complete active PA system built around a pair of Ventis 108A active top speakers and a pair of Subline 112SA active subwoofers. Designed as a ready-to-use professional package, the system delivers a total of 3200W RMS and includes the main loudspeakers, subwoofers, telescopic poles, pole carry bag and padded covers for the tops and subs. It is available in black or white, making it suitable for users who need a compact but capable full-range sound system with a clean, coordinated finish.
At the heart of the system are two FBT Ventis 108A active loudspeakers. Each top speaker is fitted with an 8" low frequency woofer and a 1" high frequency compression driver, delivering clear mid/high performance in a compact birch plywood cabinet. The Ventis 108A is designed to provide strong vocal clarity, detailed music playback and flexible deployment, making it suitable as the main top cabinet within the VN 1000 system or as a standalone speaker when a smaller setup is required.
Each Ventis 108A includes integrated bi-amplification, with 700W RMS for the low frequency section and 200W RMS for the high frequency section. This gives the two top speakers a combined active amplifier platform capable of delivering high output without the need for external amplification. The Ventis 108A also includes DSP control, allowing users to adjust the response, apply delay from 0–10 metres and use high-pass filtering when the speakers are paired with the included subwoofers.
The low-frequency foundation of the package is provided by two FBT Subline 112SA active subwoofers. Each subwoofer uses a 12" driver and a 700W RMS amplifier module, providing compact but powerful bass reinforcement for the system. The Subline 112SA uses a bass-reflex cabinet design and includes onboard DSP with eight presets, phase control and delay adjustment, giving users practical control over the system’s low-frequency performance.
A key benefit of the VN 1000 package is its flexible system configuration. It can be deployed as a full four-box active PA system with two tops and two subs, or reduced into smaller setups where required. The system can also be operated as a three-box configuration, with one sub feeding the two top speakers in stereo. This makes the package more adaptable than a fixed-format system, allowing it to scale depending on the space, audience size and required low-frequency output.
Both the Ventis 108A and Subline 112SA cabinets are built from birch plywood with a scratch-resistant finish and full-face grille, giving the package a durable and professional appearance. The matching cabinet design across the tops and subs helps the system look coherent when set up, while the included padded covers support protection during transport and storage. The Ventis 108A tops weigh 13.3kg each, and the Subline 112SA subs weigh 23kg each, keeping the system practical for professional handling.
The included telescopic poles allow the Ventis 108A top speakers to be mounted directly above the Subline 112SA subwoofers, creating a clean and conventional sub-and-top PA layout. A carry bag for the poles is also included, helping keep system accessories organised between uses. This complete package approach reduces the need to source core accessories separately and provides a more coherent system from the start.
