The Ecler DROP6i is a two-way full-range pendant loudspeaker designed to deliver high-quality audio performance within a sleek and discreet architectural form factor, making it ideal for modern commercial interiors with open or high ceilings. It combines a 6.5-inch woofer with a 1-inch silk dome tweeter to produce detailed, balanced sound suitable for both background music and foreground audio applications.
The DROP6i supports both low impedance and high impedance operation, delivering 75W RMS at 8 ohms or selectable 70/100V line power tappings of 60W, 30W, 15W and 7.5W, allowing seamless integration into a wide range of distributed audio systems. An integrated rotary power selector enables quick configuration during installation, while INPUT and LINK Euroblock connectors simplify system wiring and speaker daisy-chaining.
Constructed from ABS reinforced with fibreglass and rated to IP53, the DROP6i is suitable for use in demanding indoor environments. It is supplied with a 5 metre cable and two height-adjustable steel suspension cords for flexible installation. The paintable enclosure and grille allow visual customisation, and the speaker is available in white or black finishes to suit a variety of design schemes.
