Description
The Ecler DAM614 is a fully programmable 6-input, 4-output digital matrix mixer designed for professional commercial audio installations requiring flexible source routing, zoning and DSP processing from a compact 1U unit.
The six audio inputs comprise two stereo line inputs and four microphone/line inputs with phantom power available. The MIC/LINE inputs can operate independently in mono or be stereo-linked, providing flexibility for background music sources, microphones, paging systems and other audio equipment.
Four balanced line outputs can operate as four independent mono zones or be paired to create stereo zones. Each output features its own independent mixer, allowing different combinations and levels of the connected sources to be routed to each area of an installation.
Integrated 24-bit / 48kHz DSP provides extensive audio processing, including independent input and output level control, output crossover filters, 10-band graphic EQ, microphone high-pass filters, noise gates, feedback suppression and adjustable delay on two outputs. A two-level pager and ducker system is also available for priority announcements and paging applications.
The front panel features an LCD display with dedicated digital controls for all six inputs and four outputs, allowing straightforward local adjustment and system monitoring. Configuration and external control are also available via RS-232 using EclerCOMM software or the CA-NET protocol.
Four remote control ports provide integration with compatible Ecler wall panels and other 0-10V control devices, allowing functions such as source selection and volume adjustment to be controlled locally within individual zones. This makes the DAM614 particularly suited to restaurants, bars, hotels, education, retail and other multi-zone commercial audio installations.
