Engineered specifically for reliable DMX data transmission, the cable features two 24AWG tinned oxygen-free copper conductors with a nominal impedance of 110Ω, making it suitable for DMX512 lighting control systems and other compatible digital control applications.
For enhanced protection against interference, the conductors are surrounded by both aluminium polyester foil and a high-coverage tinned copper braided screen. This dual-screened construction helps maintain signal integrity, particularly in environments containing mains cabling, dimmers, amplifiers and other equipment capable of generating electrical interference.
A soft, low-memory PVC outer jacket provides excellent flexibility and makes the cable easy to handle, coil and route around stages, racks and permanent installations. The 6mm overall diameter also makes it suitable for termination with a wide range of professional 3-pin and 5-pin XLR connectors.
