The Crown XLi 3500 is the highest-output model in the XLi Series, designed for users who need a rugged 2-channel power amplifier for demanding portable and fixed sound systems. Delivering 2x 1350W into 4Ω or 2x 1000W into 8Ω, it provides strong amplifier headroom for passive loudspeakers, larger PA systems, venues, schools, houses of worship, pubs, rehearsal spaces and DJ setups.
The amplifier can operate in stereo, parallel or bridge-mono mode, giving flexibility for different loudspeaker configurations. In bridge-mono mode, the XLi 3500 can deliver 2700W into 8Ω, making it suitable where a single higher-power output channel is required for a compatible loudspeaker or subwoofer application.
Connectivity is straightforward, with both XLR and RCA inputs for compatibility with mixers, processors, media players and other audio sources. Outputs are provided on speakON and binding post connectors, allowing the amplifier to integrate easily into professional and semi-professional loudspeaker systems.
The front panel includes two level controls, a power switch and LED indicators for power, signal presence, clip and fault status. Forced-air cooling helps prevent excessive thermal build-up, while built-in protection covers short circuits, no-load conditions, on/off thumps and radio-frequency interference.
