The Cloud PM8 Paging Microphone is a professional digital paging solution designed for general-purpose multi-zone announcement systems in commercial audio installations. Featuring eight dedicated zone selection buttons, the PM8 allows clear and controlled paging to individual zones or multiple zones simultaneously, making it suitable for medium to large venues.
Part of Cloud’s PM paging microphone range, the PM8 shares a common design with the PM4, PM12 and PM16 models, differing only in the number of selectable zones supported. This consistent platform allows system designers to scale paging capability easily across installations with varying zone requirements.
The PM8 interfaces directly with compatible Cloud mixers and mixer amplifiers via the Cloud Digital Paging Interface, using standard CAT-5 cable and RJ45 connectors for simplified installation and reliable digital audio transmission. It is also backward-compatible with Cloud’s earlier CDPM digital paging microphone systems, allowing PM and CDPM microphones to be used together on the same paging network.
Designed for flexibility, the PM8 can also be integrated with non-Cloud products where compatible paging interfaces are available, making it a versatile option for both new systems and upgrades. Engineered by Cloud Electronics, it is well suited to retail, hospitality, education, transport and commercial environments where dependable multi-zone paging is required.
