The Cloud CX462 is a versatile 1U rackmount audio system controller designed for professional commercial audio installations requiring flexible control of background music, microphones and paging announcements. Featuring six stereo line inputs and four microphone inputs, the CX462 provides independent music and microphone mixing, making it ideal for schools, houses of worship, conference rooms, hotels, restaurants, bars and leisure facilities.
With separate balanced outputs for music and microphones, the CX462 allows both audio sections to operate independently or be blended together as required. The stereo music output can also be configured for mono operation, offering additional flexibility when integrating with commercial audio systems.
The six stereo line inputs feature individual gain adjustments, while the four electronically balanced microphone inputs provide individual level and EQ controls, with selectable 15V phantom power. A dedicated microphone master control, parametric EQ and switchable 150Hz high-pass filter help optimise speech clarity and audio performance.
Advanced priority functions allow microphone announcements to automatically override background music, while Line 6 can be configured as a priority music source. Compatibility with optional Cloud remote control panels provides convenient adjustment of music levels and source selection from alternative locations.
The CX462 also supports optional RS-232 control, emergency music muting and loudspeaker EQ modules, making it a highly adaptable solution for both straightforward and more complex installed sound applications.
