Description
The Adastra H2400 hybrid Class-H power amplifier is a lightweight, high-performance solution designed to deliver high sound pressure levels in medium to large sound reinforcement systems, housed in a 19-inch rack-mountable chassis and engineered for professional touring and installation use. It utilises an advanced hybrid Class-H architecture that combines the efficiency of a digitally controlled power section with the stability and power delivery of a traditional Class-H output stage, ensuring dynamic performance with reduced heat and energy consumption.
Comprehensive internal protection circuitry continuously monitors thermal and overload conditions, incorporates active inrush current limiting, and automatically mutes the amplifier during power on and power off to protect connected equipment. A front-panel digital display provides real-time monitoring of supply voltage, internal temperature and output level for clear operational visibility.
The fully balanced signal path offers three selectable input sensitivity settings to accommodate a wide range of audio sources, while flexible operating modes allow the amplifier to be configured for stereo, parallel or bridged operation. A switchable 120Hz low-pass filter enables direct use with subwoofers without the need for an external crossover, helping to reduce system cost and rack space requirements. Speaker outputs are provided via Speakon connectors, supporting one or two connections as required, making the H2400 a dependable, high-output amplifier for professional PA installers and sound contractors demanding consistent power and audio quality.
