The Citronic CASA-18BA is an 18" active subwoofer cabinet designed to add powerful low-frequency reinforcement to CASA full-range speakers and other active PA systems. With a built-in Class D amplifier, 600W RMS output and 2200W peak output, it is the largest active subwoofer in the CASA range and is well suited to users who need stronger bass response for music playback, DJ sets and event sound.
The front-loaded 18" high-flex sub driver delivers added depth, warmth and impact, making it a strong option for larger portable PA systems, small venues, rehearsal rooms, schools, hospitality spaces and mobile DJ setups. It allows the main speakers to focus on vocal clarity and mid/high-frequency coverage while the subwoofer handles the low-end energy required for a fuller system sound.
Connectivity is designed for practical active PA setups, with left and right balanced XLR inputs, balanced XLR outputs and link outputs. The output section includes a switchable high-pass crossover for feeding active top speakers, while the phase switch helps reduce cancellation and supports better alignment between the subwoofer and full-range cabinets.
The CASA-18BA cabinet is constructed from 15mm MDF with a durable textured finish, side carry handles and a 35mm pole mount socket. It also includes mounting points for optional 75mm castors, making it easier to move in mobile PA, hire and event environments.
Supplied with an IEC mains lead, the CASA-18BA is self-powered and does not require a separate amplifier. It is a strong choice for users who need the deepest and most powerful bass option from the Citronic CASA active subwoofer range.
