The Citronic CASA-15BA is a 15" active subwoofer cabinet designed to add stronger low-frequency output to CASA full-range speakers and other active PA systems. With a built-in Class D amplifier, 500W RMS output and 1800W peak output, it provides a more powerful bass extension option than the smaller CASA-12BA while remaining practical for portable use.
The front-loaded 15" high-flex sub driver helps deliver extra warmth, punch and low-end weight for music playback, DJ sets, small live sound applications and event audio. It is well suited to users who need a fuller sound from compact top speakers, allowing the subwoofer to handle the lower frequencies while the main speakers focus on vocal clarity and mid/high-frequency coverage.
Connectivity is designed for active PA setups, with left and right balanced XLR inputs, balanced XLR outputs and link outputs. The output section includes a switchable high-pass crossover for feeding active top speakers, while the phase switch helps reduce cancellation and supports better alignment between subwoofer and full-range cabinets.
The CASA-15BA cabinet is constructed from 15mm MDF with a durable textured finish, side carry handles and a 35mm pole mount socket. The 15" and 18" CASA subwoofer models also include mounting points for optional castors, making them easier to move in mobile PA and event environments.
Supplied with an IEC mains lead, the CASA-15BA is self-powered and does not require a separate amplifier. It is a strong choice for mobile DJs, small venues, schools, rehearsal spaces, parties and compact sound systems where more low-end impact is required.
