This Citronic CASA-12A and CASA-18BA Active PA Speaker & Subwoofer Kit is a larger active PA system designed for users who need strong full-range output with deeper low-frequency support. Combining two CASA-12A active PA speakers with two CASA-18BA active 18" subwoofers, this kit is well suited to mobile DJs, venues, parties, schools, rehearsal spaces, presentations and general event sound applications.
Each CASA-12A is a 12" active moulded PA speaker with built-in Class D amplification, DSP speaker profiles, Bluetooth connectivity and USB/SD media playback. The 12" cabinet offers more output and low-frequency presence than the smaller CASA-8A and CASA-10A models, making it a practical choice for users who need a stronger top speaker while still keeping the system manageable and portable.
The CASA-18BA active subwoofers provide the most powerful low-frequency option in the CASA active subwoofer range. Each subwoofer features an 18" high-flex driver, Class D amplification, balanced XLR inputs and outputs, link outputs, phase control and a high-pass crossover output for feeding active top speakers. This gives the system added bass depth, punch and impact for music playback, DJ use and more demanding portable PA applications.
This kit includes two UTX 212 winch speaker poles, allowing the CASA-12A top speakers to be positioned neatly above the CASA-18BA subwoofers while making height adjustment easier during setup. It also includes two 10m XLR-XLR leads and two 2m XLR-XLR leads, providing practical signal cabling for a typical left and right sub/satellite configuration.
Protective slip covers for both the CASA-12A speakers and CASA-18BA subwoofers are also included, helping protect the cabinets during transport and storage. This makes the kit a practical option for mobile users, hire stock, venues and systems that are regularly moved between locations.
As each speaker and subwoofer is self-powered, no external amplifier is required, although each cabinet will require mains power. The result is a powerful, easy-to-deploy active PA system with dedicated 18" subwoofer support, straightforward cabling, speaker mounting and useful transport protection included.
