The Bose ControlSpace ESP-880A engineered sound processor is a powerful open architecture DSP designed to deliver precise audio control across a wide range of commercial sound system applications. The ESP-880A features 8 by 8 analogue audio inputs and outputs, supporting both microphone and line level signals. High quality analogue circuitry delivers ultra low noise performance with a wide dynamic range, ensuring clean and accurate audio reproduction across all connected sources.
Advanced digital signal processing operates at 48 kHz and 24 bit resolution, utilising a floating point DSP architecture for maximum precision and low latency performance. An integrated AmpLink output allows up to 8 channels of uncompressed digital audio to be transmitted directly to compatible Bose Professional amplifiers over standard Cat5 cabling. This simplifies system wiring while maintaining signal integrity and reducing installation time.
The ESP-880A is configured using Bose ControlSpace Designer software, providing access to a comprehensive suite of processing modules including automatic microphone mixing, feedback suppression, EQ, dynamics processing, routing, delays, and room combining.
