The Blustream SP14CS is a professional 4 way 4K HDMI splitter designed to distribute a single HDMI source to four displays at the same time. It is a strong choice for commercial AV installations where one source needs to be shown across multiple screens, including meeting rooms, classrooms, reception areas, retail displays, hospitality venues, sports bars, training rooms and residential media systems.
Supporting HDMI 2.0 with 18Gbps bandwidth, the SP14CS is suitable for high quality 4K UHD video distribution, including resolutions up to 4K 60Hz 4:4:4. This allows compatible sources and displays to deliver sharp image detail, smooth motion and strong colour performance across all connected outputs. HDR support also makes the unit suitable for modern content sources where enhanced contrast and colour depth are required.
A major benefit of the SP14CS is its smart scaling capability. The splitter can automatically down-convert video on each output, allowing displays with different resolution capabilities to be used within the same system. For example, a 4K source can be distributed to a combination of 4K and 1080p displays, with the splitter helping each screen receive a compatible signal. This is particularly useful for real-world AV installations where every display may not be the same age, model or specification.
The SP14CS also includes both digital and analogue audio breakout, giving installers additional flexibility when integrating HDMI video sources with separate audio systems.
